Donna McAnally, President of the Blue Star Banner Program, represented us at a Veterans Day assembly at Lundahl Middle School’s Veterans Day Ceremony. The students organized a very impressive morning of music, poems, Veterans Day writings, and conducted a flag folding ceremony. During their demonstration they explained the meaning behind each fold as well as the reason for the number of folds made in the ceremony.
Donna spoke for herself, her family and our program on the meaning and importance of Veterans Day emphasizing that our Veterans displayed a deep love of country and a commitment to serve. Our currently serving military members feel the same commitment and they serve with great honor and bravery.
